Vinyl application fluids are designed to make the application of pressure sensitive vinyls and decals quick and easy by allowing you time to position your graphics and remove air bubbles prior to adhesion. The application fluid wets the surface, allowing you to slide the graphics until you get the exact placement. No need to worry about the adhesive sticking before you are ready. And application fluids are great when working with large graphics.

Splash® Application Techniques
Ideal temperature for applying vinyl is above 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
1) Pour 8 ounce bottle of SPLASH into 1 gallon bottle and add water to 1 gallon mark. mix well, then pour solution into a spray bottle for use.
It is wise to assume that every surface is dirty and should be cleaned thoroughly before any transfer is made.
2) Clean substrate (sign surface) with a commercial cleanser or SPLASH.
3) Place lettering (copy) on surface.
A clean surface will usually result in a good transfer.
4) Remove backing then spray surface with SPLASH.
5) Lay copy on wet surface, position squeegee down.
Please read directions on SPLASH bottle completely.
6) After two minutes either saturate transfer tape with SPLASH or proceed with dry removal of transfer tape.
7) Carefully remove transfer tape, pull down at 45 degrees.
8) Complete transfer by wiping area dry.
SPLASH has been formulated to make applying vinyl lettering, decals and graphics easier, faster and safer. SPLASH eliminates air bubbles and wrinkles, and provides a clean work surface. Surface preparation is the key to successful application. While SPLASH may be used as a cleaning agent, it is not always adequate by itself. ACTION TAC is an excellent cleaning agent.
The following information offers additional guidelines for surface preparation when applying vinyl lettering, decals and graphics.
Some windows and vehicles may have residual cleaning particles contaminated with silicone, wetting agents or detergents. These do not break down easily.
ACTION TAC or a good glass cleaner or detergent will adequately clean and prepare most surfaces. For extremely dirty surfaces, a mild abrasive containing cleanser may be suitable.
The surface must be rinsed well with water to eliminate the soap or compound residue. Isopropyl alcohol is an excellent cleanser.
Be sensitive to these factors and keep good cleaners handy.
Always use paper towels for cleaning and wiping.

Can I use Action Tac, Splash and Window Juice on acrylic based adhesives?
Yes, on all types of adhesives. Our products are not aggressive.
Why do you manufacture three products for vinyl application?
Our original formula is Splash– a great product, on the market for over 13 years. However, some users prefer the convenience of a ready-to-use product, so we formulated Action Tac. Window Juice is a specialty product specifically designed for use on windows and glass, areas where traditional fluids take too long to dry.
