Avery Dennison FM 2945 PET
Avery Dennison FM 2945 PET is a 1,140 µm double coated black polyethylene foam tape
with a very aggressive elastomeric based adhesive. It is used for bonding a wide range
of materials including low surface energy substrates. This product has excellent adhesion
and shear strength and also resists elevated temperatures. FM 2945 PET is suitable for
fixing nameplates and emblems to automotive exterior paints including very low surface
energy clear coats

APPLICATION TECHNIQUES
• It is essential with all pressure-sensitive tapes the application surface is clean, dry and free of grease and oil
• Bond strength is dependent upon the amount of adhesive-to-surface contact developed
• Note that different pressure, time and temperature on different (firm / rigid) surface achieves different performance
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
The shelf life of the product is two year when stored at 18-22?C / 64-72?F, 30-70% relative humidity and out of direct sunlight, in
original packaging.
